Martina our Mental Health/Alcohol and Other Drugs Worker provides support in the office upstairs at The Station Ltd, from Monday to Friday. Make an appointment at the front desk.
She provides psychosocial and holistic case management to individuals with mental health issues. She will often focus on encouraging individuals to maintain self care and general health and well being, to empower individuals to make steps towards independence and integration into the community. She also focuses on co-morbid drug and alcohol and mental health issues. She provides the following services:

Graciela and Martina are our 2 drug and alcohol workers available from Monday to Friday.
Their aim is to encourage individuals to take control of their drug and alcohol use or abuse focusing on; coping skills, referring to detoxification and rehabilitation services and maintaining healthy lifestyles. Both workers are also experienced in supporting clients with a combination of drug, alcohol and mental health issues. You need to make an appointment at the front desk for the following

Franco & Morteza are The Station’s Housing Support Workers. They are available Monday to Friday.
Their aim is to provide assistance to individuals who are homeless, itinerant or in unsuitable housing. They focus on supporting individuals to find housing that is appropriate to their specific needs. They also assist clients to maintain a satisfactory quality of life through encouraging and providing information around affordable and safe accommodation options. This
service includes the following:
Monday Every Monday The Station Ltd has an outreach service; Homeless Persons Legal Service. This service is provided by PIAC (Public Interest Advocacy Centre).
They provide pro-bono (free) service assisting with legal advice, information, referral, court representation and enquires.

Tuesdays from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, A Psychiatrist and a Mental Health worker from St Vincent’s Mental Health Homeless Health Team attends The Station.
This team provide services such as mental health assessments, reviews, follow ups, referrals, advice, information and medication administration for clients who need assistance with their mental health. To make an appointment, speak to the front desk.
Mondays from 8:30 am to 10:00 am, the General Practitioner and Registered Nurse are available.
The Doctor and Nurse are from St Vincent’s Hospital Homeless Health Team. This team is able to assist with scripts, advise, a treatment plan, write medical assessments for Housing application, follow up appointments, advice and referrals.
To see the health team, you don’t have to make an appointment, just ask staff to put your name on the list.
To see a Dental Specialist please speak to the front desk and they will arrange an appointment for you.
We are linked in with the Australian Dental Association who provide dental a pro-bono (free) service to the homeless population.
This team can assist with: Dental care in general such as fillings, extractions, dentures and hygiene.
