Accreditation

The Station Ltd continues to undertake a formal quality improvement accreditation through Quality Innovation Performance (QIP) who assists in identifying areas for quality improvement. Staff at the centre, are constantly identifying areas for development and improvement and implement changes where possible within the scope of the organisation.

The Station Ltd has been re-accredited by the Quality Improvement Council. The accreditation is valid for three years from May 26th of 2009 until May 26th of 2012. This has been an extensive project, which has taken a great part of our working hours while assisting our daily client service activities. We have completed all the required documentation followed by a large number of recommendations based on the QMS team review report. The Station Ltd will have to provide ‘continuous quality improvement’ in the course of Quality Work Plan reports, which are future submissions to follow. This will assist us to maintain quality service provision which continues to be an important focus of the organisation.

On the 27th of March 2006, The Station Ltd. was successfully accredited with Quality Management Services. Over twelve months, The Station worked to achieve this outcome as the first homeless community services to be accredited. We are continuing to work on improving and maintaining this quality of work through progress reports and proformas.

On the 20th and 21st of August 2015, The Station underwent assessment for accreditation through ASES (Australian Services Excellence Standards). We are currently in the process of completing a number of recommendations which were identified in order to improve and maintain the quality of work carried out by The Station. This will assist us to continuing to offer the best possible service and support for our clients.
