From Monday to Friday, The Station Ltd has a Mental Health Welfare worker, her name is Heather.
Her aim is to provide psychosocial and holistic case management to individuals with mental health issues. She will often focus on encouraging individuals to maintain self care and general health and well being, to empower individuals to make steps towards independence and integration into the community. She also focuses on co-morbid drug and alcohol and mental health issues. Her office is upstairs opposite the kitchen and you need to make an appointment with administration. She can provide services such as:

• Referral for Mental Health Assessment
• Referral to Local Community Mental Health Service
• Advice and information
• Education
• Case management
• Counselling
• Emotional support
• CALD specific referrals
• Support and advocacy
